101 series
Flexible ends together splicers. The splicers in the 101 series are very simple tools, designed principally for the carpet business, though they are often used for joining fancy yarns. They have a very simple construction, and are very strong. The splicers have some new features which make them unusually powerful, and economical in use.

All 101 splicers have an unusually simple and strong construction; the splicer resists damage in service better than most products on the market. Simple construction leads to simple maintenance; the splicer in its basic form can be completely dismantled and re-assembled in about ten minutes.
The splicers contain some new and patented technology, and need a smaller range of splicing chambers than splicers of earlier generations. Unlike its competitors, the splicer can join S-twist or Z-twist yarns without any modification; it can even splice S-twist and Z-twist together, or can splice flat yarn to high-twist such as tyre cord.
101 splicers have a simple straight-line string-up.
The splice is made in three stages:

Bring the yarns down across the cutting blade, to trim off the waste ends, and press the trigger. |
